17th February 2025 Hiking - Walking: Around Felixstowe Wind Direction: E Wind Stength: Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: 3 Sea Temperature: Weather: sunny periods and cold Max Speed: Distance Covered: 3 miles (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) Monday 17th February - walk * – Around Felixstowe – sunny periods and cold. It looked promising for a sunrise this morning and as I haven’t been out early with the camera lately I decided to head out before 7 in the van to have a ride round. Once out it did not look so good with a large bank of cloud on the horizon, I ended up at Felixstowe Ferry but nothing much of a pic there and oh so cold so I returned to The Fludyers stopping there near the large break water as the sun broke above the cloud, I managed a few pics and was lucky enough to get one on this evenings About Anglia so worth getting cold for! With the cold wind from the east we had plans plans so I did my exercises while Mag did more sanding on our front door and some clearing of the borders. Then with some things to do in Felixstowe town centre before walking down to the seafront ending up walking 3 miles but it was not pleasant in the cold, it had clouded over too! Photo Album here |
